How we evaluate

The system of the BFIT has been designed keeping in view the best available options of evaluation & certification along with their global acceptability. The basic principle of the system is that it is “scientific, objective and transparent” with least possibility of subjectivity caused due to the individual evaluator, particular subject or a particular batch of our students. Evaluation system at BFIT is notably transparent and is aimed toward bringing out the exceptional performance of college students. As consistent with the evaluation system currently in force, students are usually evaluated on the idea of two components such as end-term examination and continuous assessment with weightage of 70-80% and 20-30% respectively. End-term Examinations are performed at the end of each term, i.e., once in a year for annual programmes and twice a year for semester primarily based programmes.

Examination recommendations

End-term examination shall be conducted at the end of each term/ year as prescribed through the college. At the same time as appearing for Examinations, college students are required to hold their Identification Card and Admit Card of the relevant term/ year and convey it whilst requested for; in any other case they may not be allowed to appear in the examination. If a student fails to clear any subject, he shall be required to re-appear for the same by way of paying fee as prescribed via the college from time to time. Separate fee for theory and practical exam would be taken by the college in case of Re-appear examinations. Results of the end-term and Reappear examination will be announced through the college as soon as possible. No separate intimation to students would be made in this regard.
